It did not take Lee freshman Stephanie Todd long to establish her mark in the Southern States Athletic Conference. The outsider hitter from Colorado Springs was named the SSAC Voleyball Player of the Week on Monday.

The Lady Flames finished the week 3-2 and improved to 12-3 on the year. Todd was a key reason coach Andrea Hudson's club was able to go 2-2 in the Lee Invitational. For the week, Todd posted three double-doubles and all came against quality opponents.

In the loss to Savannah College of Art and Design, she registered 13 kills and 10 digs. In a tough battle against No. 22 University of Mobile, Todd had a team season-high of 20 kills and 15 digs. She came back the same afternoon and notched 17 kills, 19 digs and four aces against a very good King College club.

In five matches, Todd ripped 64 kills and collected 60 digs. She capped off the week with eight service aces.
