
The PDL is the top U23 men's amateur league in North America. The 2008 campaign features a 67-team format within four conferences, consisting of 16 regular season matches, 8 home and 8 away. The schedule is augmented by participation in the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup, and various exhibitions. The league is the proving ground for players that aspire to reach the highest-levels of the game.
Traquair's team, Mississippi Brilla FC, is the minor league soccer franchise of Brilla Soccer Ministries, Inc. The team competes in the Mid-South Division of the Southern Conference of the PDL. Traquair played the full 90 minutes in their first game against the Laredo Heat.
Traquair, a 2007 graduate of Shorter, holds the Hawks' records for assists in a game (3), assists in a season (17), and career assists (28). He was a 2006 SSAC First Team All-Conference selection, a year in which he was second in the nation in assists.
Following his tenure at Shorter, Traquair was hired as the women's assistant coach at Young Harris College in Young Harris, Ga., where he helped the team finish as the JUCO Region XVII runner-up.
